ALAMOSA COUNTY —Interest is being paid and drinks are being poured in Alamosa County.
In February, the Alamosa County Commissioners (ACC) voted to hold the Alamosa Pentecostal Church accountable for $1,300 in interest on a property tax lien.
Yesterday, Alamosa County Treasurer and Public Trustee Lois Widhalm told the ACC during their regular meeting Carl Sutter, the Alamosa Pentecostal Church pastor, made his first payment of $25 on Tues. April 8. He is expected to make a monthly payment in the same amount until the interest is paid off.
