Student admits false assault report

ALAMOSA -- As the result of an investigation by the Adams State College Police Department, Jacob Day admitted to falsely reporting he was assaulted Oct. 26 near the intersection of Monterey and El Rio Dr.
Day, a freshman from Alamosa residing on the Adams State campus, said the injuries he sustained were actually from a fight that occurred off-campus.
