Letter: … And jeers

I’d like to voice my disgust with the Monte Vista Parks and Rec and how the dodgeball tournament was handled. It was stated in the paper that it was for 18 and up; I assumed that meant you needed to be 18 to play, not to watch. I got my kids very excited to watch their dad play, however, upon arrival I got to disappoint them. I was told my kids could not attend because alcohol was being served. Maybe it should have been more of a ‘just for fun’ event than a drunk fest.
