Alamosa resident Evelyn Thomas, 75, passed away March 7, 2013 at the Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo surrounded by her loving family. Evelyn was born on June 18, 1937 in Henderson, Maryland the daughter of Louis Antal and Elizabeth Toth Antal. Evelyn was President of American Legion Women’s auxiliary. She owned and operated her own storage company in Alamosa for many years. Evelyn mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and friend who enjoyed going to bingo, gambling, gardening and baking, she was an avid Baltimore Ravens fan who cherished the time she spent with her family and friends.
Survivors include her daughters Sharon Greiner of Chester, Md.; Brenda (Alan) Warren of Greenwood, Del.; Sandy (Richard) Pascoe of Hooper; sons Carlton (Sally) Thomas of Center; Harry (Linda) Thomas of Laurel, Del.; Butch (Michelle) Thomas of Greenwood, Del.; sister-in-law Frances Antal of Marydel, Del.; five grandsons, three great-granddaughters. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles Bellefeuille; two sisters Irene Dziadura, Dorothy Mahan and one brother, Louis Antal.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Romero Funeral Home in Alamosa. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Romero Funeral Home in Alamosa who is in care of the arrangements.
