ALAMOSA —Veronica Eloisa Sierra, 83, passed away on July 24, 2019 in Alamosa.  She was born July 9, 1936 in Del Norte, to Jose Roberto and Carolina A. (Jerou) Sierra. She was a local waitress in Alamosa for many years.

She is survived by her son David Cordova of Alamosa. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Christina Botz.

Cremation was selected and a Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 17, in the Buswell Chapel at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Alamosa.
