Thomas J. Peña Sr.  66, of Del Norte passed away on April 3, 2018. He was born in Del Norte Co to Joe P. Peña and Josephine Peña.

He enjoyed being outdoors; going fishing, listening to music, working on his cars, drawing and anything western. He loved going to his favorite fast food restaurant Sonic to eat.

He survived by his wife Cora Peña of Del Norte, CO; his daughter Peggy (Ernest) Romero of Del Norte, CO; his son Thomas Peña Jr. of Del Norte, CO;  children; Phyllis Gonzales, Elaine Dominquez, Vera Gonzales; Norbert Gonzales, James Gonzales, Chris Gonzales; sisters Joann (Louis) Sierra of Del Norte, CO; grandchildren Nicole Romero, Ashanti Pena, Cruz Gurele, Johnathan Gurele, Denesha Peña, David Peña, Joe Peña, Luz Aguilar, Shanell Peña; grandchildren Tomas Medina; and numerous step-grandchildren and nieces & nephews.

Thomas is preceded in death by his parents Joe P. Peña and Josephine Peña; his two brothers; three sisters; his grandchild Isaac Medina of Del Norte.

Viewing will be held Friday, April 6, 2018 from 1:00 PM  to 4:00 PM at Strohmayer’s Funeral Home 205 South Broadway Monte Vista, CO.

Rosary will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 7:00 PM at the Holy Name of  Mary Catholic Church  in Del Norte, CO

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church in Del Norte, CO.
