Sue Scarth Hershey, 83, of Amarillo died November 25, 2017.  Visitation will be at 6 - 7 p.m. tonight at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.   Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2017 in San Jacinto Church of Christ, Line Avenue and Mississippi, with Dale Dennis and Glen Walton officiating.  Burial will be at 4:00 p.m. in the Darrouzett Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.   

She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 62 years, Joe, on April 22, 2017, her parents, brother Jack Scarth and all three of her sisters-in-law, Helen Scarth, Joan Scarth and Ruth Scarth.   She leaves behind three children, Doug of Amarillo, Lenita and Earl Unruh of Blossom and Tom and Letha of Monte Vista, Colorado.  Other survivors include two brothers, Dale Scarth of Burleson and Bob and Angela Scarth of Amarillo.  She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Isaac and Sara Unruh, Chris and Heather Unruh, Trey and Kelli Unruh of Blossom, Andy Hershey of Lubbock and Katie and Nick Renteria of Claude.  Her eight great-grandchildren are Grace, Paul, Caleb, Cooper, Hallie and Luke Unruh and Cecilia and Kelsey Renteria.
