Stephen J Horwath, 59, passed away Wednesday, March 14th, 2018.

Steve was born on August 2, 1958. He was a Diesel Mechanic and for the past few years he had worked with the San Luis Valley Regional Landfill in Monte Vista. One of Steve’s employment adventures that he was most proud of included heavy equipment mechanic in Antarctica. Steve’s hobbies included fishing, 4-wheeling, camping, building and flying model Airplanes, tinkering and gardening. Steve enjoyed spending time with his close friends and family. He loved the Lord and gave us all such courage and hope and reminded us of the preciousness of life.

Cremation was selected and private family and friend service will be held at a later date.
