Shirley May Nicholson (Flynt) was born on April 9, 1928 in Stockton County of Worcester Maryland. The name of her father was James A. Nicholson. The maiden name of her mother was Violet Guthrie.

Shirley went home to be with her Lord April 10, 2018. She was residing at River Side Inn nursing home in Del Norte.

Shirley was an excellent seamstress, and made most of her own clothes. She made her living as a bookkeeper and secretary. She was an avid reader and loved her cat. She was a faithful member of Grace Community Baptist Church and was able to attend regularly until a few years ago. She was a real asset to our church family and will be missed dearly. She always had a very positive attitude! She trusted God to keep her going!

She loved and was extremely proud of her son Barry Lee Lank who preceded her in death. She is survived by her niece Suzanne Cahall and her husband Rusty. Sue will miss talking on the phone and corresponding with her beloved Auntie!

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday June 23, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Grace Community Baptist Church, 403 Lincoln Ave., Monte Vista, CO.
