La Garita Resident Samantha Olivia Nusbaum, 16, passed away on March 13, 2018. Samantha was born on September 13, 2001 in Cody, Wyoming to Edward Lee Nusbaum and Tracey Kebler Nusbaum.

Samantha was a student at Center High School. She enjoyed horse riding, driving, drawing and longboarding with her friends.

Samantha was such a beautiful light in this world and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her parents Edward Lee Nusbaum and Tracey Kebler Nusbaum; Three brothers Gerald Matthew Nusbaum, Brian Parko, Hayden Parko; along with many grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Samantha was preceded in death by her grandmother Bonnie Nusbaum.

Cremation was chosen.

A celebration of her life will be held Friday, March 16, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Strohmayer’s Funeral Home 205 South Broadway Monte Vista, Co 81144.
