SAN LUIS VALLEY — Joanne Christine Espinoza (Trujillo), 64, passed away Saturday, Nov. 30, at home.

Born Sept. 10, 1955 to Felipe and Juanita (Romero) Trujillo in Santa Fe, N.M., she was a longtime resident of the San Luis Valley and for the last several years was married to the love of her life, Abel Wayne Espinoza.

Joanne is survived by her loving husband Abel Wayne Espinoza; daughters Charlene (Josh) Padilla and Lori Padilla of Taos, NM; daughter-in-law Elizabeth Padilla; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild; siblings Terri Davis of Rio-en-Medio, N.M., Virginia (Jesus) Carreno of El Rancho, N.M.; sister-in-law Mary Lou Trujillo wife to (Leroy) of Rio-en-Medio, Felipe (Veronica) Trujillo and Henry Trujillo of Santa Fe, N.M.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Felipe and Juanita; and her two sons, Bernie and Leandro Padilla.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Conejos.
