Pablo Molina Anchondo, 87

Blanca resident Pablo Molina Anchondo, 87, passed away December 29, 2017 at the San Luis Valley Regional Medical Center with his loving family by his side.  Pablo was born on June 29, 1930 in Namiquipa, Chihuahua, Mexico, the son of Lauriano Molina and Gregoria Anchondo Molina. He was united in marriage to Elena Molinar on January 18, 1957 in Mexico. Pablo was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend who enjoyed gardening, taking care of his animals and spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends.

Survivors include his wife Elena Molina of Ft. Garland, CO; daughter Maria (Sergio) Sarmiento of Brighton, CO; sons Edwardo Molina (Ruby Valdez) of Blanca, CO; Miguel (Patricia) Molina of Ft. Garland, CO; Alfonso (Rosie) Molina, Ramon Molina (Maria Lopez) both of Blanca, CO; Apolino (Martha) Ojeda of Aurora, CO; 20 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, sisters Antonia Molina and Ana Maria Molina both of Chihuahua, MX; one brother Conrado Molina of Roswell, NM. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pablo was preceded in death by his parents Lauriano and Gregoria Molina, sister Luz Molina, and two brothers Trinidad Molina and Refugio Molina.

A Vigil Service with Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Monday, January 1, 2018 at 6:00PM at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Ft. Garland. A Vigil Service with Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 10:00 AM also at the Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Ft. Garland Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Monday from 1-4 PM at the Romero Funeral Chapel in Alamosa. The care of arrangements have been entrusted to Romero Funeral Home of Alamosa.
