Jami Kenison

Jami Louise Prestwich Kenison, 37, of Ammon, Idaho, passed away September 9, 2017, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho, after a valiant struggle with cancer.  She was surrounded by family at the time of her passing.

Jami was born June 27, 1980, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Floyd L. Prestwich and Anita Gail Camp Prestwich.  She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Skyline High School, where she was active in soccer and track.

On February 5, 1999, she married Chad Thomas Kenison in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.  They made their home in Alamosa, Colorado, and recently returned to the Idaho Falls area.  Jami was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker.

An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in Young Women callings, Relief Society, and as ward organist.  She enjoyed music, sports and reading.

brother, Martin (Sherri) Prestwich of Idaho Falls, ID,

brother, Brady (Samantha) Prestwich of Boulder City, NV.

She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd L. Prestwich.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 16, 2017, at the Ammon LDS Foothills Stake Center, 3934 East 49 South, Ammon, Idaho, 83406, with Bishop Darin Stockstad of the Ammon 30th Ward officiating.  The family will visit with friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Saturday, both visitations at the church.  Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.  Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.woodfuneralhome.com.
