Alamosa High School Athletic Director Josh Trahan, AHS Athletic Assistant Connie Childers, and Alamosa School District Board of Education President Erica Romero stand together at the board meeting Monday night. Childers recently won the Colorado Athletic Directors Association Administrative Assistant of the Year award. Childers, who has worked at the district for three years, is the only recipient of this year's award in the entire state and will be honored at the annual CADA conference in April.
