Clarance Leonard Candelaria passed away on March 26, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Clarance was born August 19, 1961 in Pueblo, Colorado. Clarance lived in Mogote, Colorado for most of his life.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and close friends. He also loved spending his time outdoors, shooting pool and traveling; but most of all, he loved riding his Harley. Clarance was a devoted Denver Bronco fan. He was a loving father, husband, brother, grandfather, uncle and a true friend.

Clarence is survived by his father, Jose Elijio “ Carnation” Candelaria of Mogote, CO; mother Priscilla (Jose) Hernandez of Pueblo, CO; children Raymond Romero of Denver, CO; Angela Candelaria of Pueblo, CO; Ernie Sisneros of Canon City, CO; Frederico Candelaria of Denver, CO; Enrique Candelaria of Denver, CO; Clarishi “Rishi” Candelaria of Denver, CO; Ivy Trujillo of Monte Vista, CO; Rosa (Michael) Archuleta of Alamosa, CO; Dora (Miguel) Candelaria-Barela of Antonito, CO;  Siblings include Janette Candelaria of Denver, CO; Joel (Geraldine) Candelaria of Antonito, CO; David (Ronnica) Candelaria of Pueblo; Jose (Jolene) Candelaria, Jr. of Mogote, CO; Lalo Lujan of Pueblo, CO; Maelyn (Michael) Dean of Oklahoma and Eric Sisneros, who is a beloved friend and brother of Antonito, CO.  Clarance is also survived by grandchildren Ray Ray and Evelyn Romero, Damian and Ceri Candelaria, Isaiah Maximus and Ariana Candelaria, GioVanni and Anaiah Trujillo, Celestino and Efriana Archuleta, Isaac and Brenda Candelaria and all extended family and friends.

Clarance was preceded in death by grandparents Jose and Dora “Mi Mommy” Candelaria; grandson Xavier Candelaria, brother Ernest Candelaria, uncles Federico, Enrique, Walter, Phil, Robert, Clyde and Arthur; aunts Mary Jane, Bernice, Angie and Dorothy and grandparents George and Eloisa Lujan.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 11:00 to 12:30 at the Romero Funeral Chapel in Antonito. Interment will follow at 1:00 PM at the Las Mesitas Cemetery in Las Mesitas, CO.  Graveside Service arrangements are by Romero Funeral Home of Antonito.
