Christopher Enos Romero, 67, of Pueblo, formerly of Antonito, born Oct. 18, 1955, in Ouray, passed away on May 4, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his father, Placido Romero; in-laws, Thomas and Patsy Talmadge, Tom Talmadge, Frank Talmadge and Betty Nelson.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Jeff (Angela) Romero, and Lisa Romero; grandchildren, Ayden Romero, Romi, Shalyn & Cassius Cardenas and Lilly Romero; great grandson, Elliot; mother, Esther Romero; siblings, Clara Hupfer, Erwin (Maria) Romero, Valerie Romero, Jody Romero, Phyllis Martinez, Linda Mae Romero, Pat Romero, Larry (Christopher) Romero and Melvin (Teri) Romero; in-laws, Carol Frazier, Bonnie (Jodi) Talmadge and Cindy Talmadge; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; extended family and friends.

Christopher worked for Grants Car Parts as a counter attendant and outside sales from 1976 to 1990. He then worked for Pony Express as a courier. He moved on to Fox Transport as a courier-independent contractor and pharmaceutical delivery, retiring in 2016. He enjoyed ranching, fishing, hunting and camping. He also enjoyed gambling, pool, and foosball.

He will be forever loved and deeply missed by those he leaves behind to cherish his memory. The family would like to thank Sangre De Cristo Hospice and Palliative Care as well as Aerocare and Valley Wide Health Services.

Viewing, 2-3 p.m., followed by Rosary, 3 p.m., Monday, May 15, 2023, Romero Family Funeral Home. A memorial service will take place at a later date at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Conejos, Colo.
