Ft. Garland resident Christopher Roy Echols, 30, passed away January 8, 2018 at his home. Christopher was born on November 22, 1987 in Waco, Texas, the son of Paul Sherman Echols and Tammie Fedrick Echols. Christopher was an exceptional son, brother, cousin and friend to all. He was always the first to lend a helping hand to anyone he could and loved the time he was able to spend with his family. He will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his parents Paul and Tammie Echols of Linden, TX; sisters Katelynn and Matthew Kelly, Jennifer and Clayton Wiescamp both of Ft. Garland, CO. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 3:00 PM at the Ft. Garland Cemetery. The care of arrangements have been entrusted to Romero Funeral Home of Alamosa.
