Del Norte resident Carlos Rodriguez, 28, passed away October 14, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Carlos was born on July 31, 1990 in Alamosa, Colorado, the beloved son of Demetrio Rodriguez and Karla Duran Rodriguez. Carlos was not here with us for as long as we would have all liked, but his contagious laugh and memories he gave all of his family and friends will last a lifetime. He was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend who enjoyed riding motorcycles, tattooing, going fishing, listening to music going to the shooting range and spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his parents Demetrio and Karla Rodriguez of Del Norte, CO; Daughter Anniyah Rodriguez; Son Carlos Rodriguez Jr., grandmother Maria Guerrero-Rodriguez of Mexico; nieces Alexis Lovato, Ashlee Lovato, Auriya Valenzuela, nephews Dominic Lovato, Isaac Lovato, Sister Steffanie O'Neil of Del Norte, CO; Brothers Ricky (Crystal) Rodriguez, Blanca, Co; Robert (Kathryn) Lovato of Del Norte, Co. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Carlos was preceded in death by the mother of his children Chailie Naranjo, brother Lamos Felipe Rodriguez, paternal grandfather Felipe Rodriguez, maternal grandparents Oralia Pena and Lamos Duran, cousins Rosa Silva and Naomi Pena. Cremation was chosen and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Door Christian Fellowship Church in Alamosa.
