Abimael Palacios Gonzalez, 48, went home to be with the Lord on August 5, 2018. Abimael was born on April 04,1970 in Soto Maynez Namiquipa, Chihuahua to Juan Palacios Fernandez and Elodia Gonzalez. Abimael was an exceptional husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend who enjoyed raising farm animals, doing mechanical work, attending family barbeques and family functions and spending as much time with family and friends as he could. He will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his wife Olivia Molinar-Perez, daughters Karlaelodia Palacios, Jaqueline Palacios, Jazmine Palacios all of Alamosa, CO; sister Minerva Palacios of Odessa, TX; nieces Vanessa Baeza of Odessa, TX; Erika Trevizo of Cuauhtemoc, Chihuahua, MX. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Abimael was preceded in death by his parents Juan Palacios Fernandez and Elodia Gonzales.

A Vigil Service with Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 7:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Alamosa. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 10:00 AM also at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Alamosa Cemetery.
