VALLEY — The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is developing a Landscape Assessment and Solar Regional Mitigation Strategies for three solar energy zones (SEZs) in Colorado, all of them located in the San Luis Valley: Antonito Southeast, De Tilla Gulch, and Los Mogotes East.
The BLM is developing solar regional mitigation strategies to identify potential impacts of solar development in SEZs and appropriate mitigation measures to address these impacts. The Landscape Assessment will characterize the natural and cultural environment of the region in support of the solar regional mitigation strategy process.
