Posted: Friday, Oct 25th, 2013

Lois Marie Reimer, 81, of Golden Valley, Arizona, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2013, following a diagnosis of cancer. In addition to the recent diagnosis of cancer, Lois had suffered since 1960 with debilitating arthritis and was anxious and ready to go home to meet her Lord. Lois was born September 30, 1932, in Haigler, Nebraska and married the love of her life, Herman Harder Reimer, on December 23, 1950, in Kennsberg, Colorado. Herman has been a wonderful helpmate and care giver during their nearly 63 years of marriage. Upon answering Godís call to full-time ministry, Herman and Lois pastored churches in Colorado and Arizona. In addition to being very active in their pastorate, the Reimers committed many years to loving and caring for numerous foster children.

She was preceded in death by her parents Pirl Benjamin Welton and Rose Katherine Welton; 3 brothers, Troil Clifford Welton, Kenneth Russell Welton, and Junior Perry Welton; and 3 sisters, Wilda Delores Harless, Lavina Leota Redden and Vena Malora Welton.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 10:30 a.m., with a potluck fellowship following, at Kingman First Assembly of God, 1850 Gates Avenue, Kingman, Arizona. In the meantime, condolences can sent to Herman Reimer, 2628 Coconino Road, Golden Valley, Arizona 86413.

The family wishes to express its sincere appreciation to the staff at KRMC Hospice for their care and support of Lois during the past few months.
