Youth advance to district Optimist contest ALAMOSA -- Nineteen San Luis Valley youth will be competing at the Colorado/Wyoming Optimist Tri-Star Basketball District Championship on Saturday, March 20 at the Pepsi Center in Denver. Each will be judged on their shooting, passing and dribbling skills.
