Waverly Road is a new band with a long history here in the San Luis Valley. Waverly Road is composed of Scott ‘Scooter’ Russell on guitar, acoustic and electric, mandolin, and vocals, Eli Dokson on guitar, acoustic and electric, and vocals, Dale Smith on drums, percussion, and vocals. These three musicians have for the past 20 years performed as members of iconic San Luis Valley bands Tumbleweed, Earthmen, Deep Creek, & 2 Weeks In Fiji. With the addition of bassist John C. Hefti, Waverly Road provides a mix of Americana, Rock & Roll, Blues & Folk, showcasing Russell, Dokson and Smith’s strong song writing & singing with tight harmonies & inventive instrumental interplay.
An evening with Waverly Road will introduce their original and unique musical experience. From original compositions to classics, Waverly Road captures a style that can only be described as exhilarating and invigorating.
