With fire-driven instrumentals and songs, haunting ballads and a good dose of humor, the Tannahill Weavers have transformed traditional Scottish material and brought it into the modern world, vitally alive and kicking.

Members of the Scottish Traditional Music Hall of Fame, the Tannies have been joined

Says Society Hall board member and area music producer Don Richmond, “I'm continually amazed at the artists that want to come play in our little town, and in this beautiful old hall!” He continues, “The Tannahill Weavers travel the world as Scottish national treasures and true ambassadors for the traditional music of the British Isles – don't miss this opportunity to see them right here in Alamosa!”
