ALAMOSA — Tamilyn Sue Dorsey, loving daughter of Jacqueline Sue (Owsley) Conville and Charles Monroe Dorsey passed away on Friday, October 9, 2020 after a long struggle. The stepdaughter of Phil Conville and Marge Dorsey, Tami was born on October 21, 1959 in Alamosa, Colorado and moved to Las Vegas, NV in 1990 with her family. In addition to her mother and father, she is survived by her brother Bob Dorsey and a large extended family as well as many friends. Tami graduated from Heritage College Technical Center Massage Therapy School in 2005. Tami loved her classes and gave wonderful heartfelt massages. She lived for years in a senior housing complex where she was one of the youngest residents and well known as the one to call on for friendly help. “Tami Place” is a street in Las Vegas named after her, the street their longtime family home was on, named in her honor by her stepfather Phil, who was a housing developer. Tami was adored not only by her nieces, nephews, and cousins but also her many friends. Because of COVID-19 memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
