ALAMOSA — On Thursday, Dec. 28 at about 7:54 p.m. the Alamosa Police Department Officers received a report of an armed robbery that occurred at Maurices clothing store, 3304 Clark Street, located at the Cottonwood Mall in Alamosa.
Upon arrival, officers learned that two suspects had entered the store and held two store associates at knifepoint while demanding cash. Both suspects were described as wearing dark clothing and carrying backpacks. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash and several items of clothing, both suspects fled on foot. The two store associates were not injured during the robbery.
A search of the area was conducted but the suspects could not be located. The investigation remains ongoing by Alamosa Police Department Detectives.
