ALAMOSA — Two stop signs were damaged in the northern part of Alamosa County and officials are offering a reward for information.

Both stop signs are new solar-powered models that flash warning lights at night and were placed at the intersection of Lane Seven North and County Road 106 over a year ago. “We have those signs at dangerous intersections,” said Alamosa County Road and Bridge Director Tim DeHerrera.

The total cost to replace the signs, which were damaged by a small rifle or pistol, amounts to $2,300.
