Alamosa resident Steven Victor Ortega, 50, passed away on April 4, 2023. He was born on Oct. 10, 1972, in Alamosa, Colo., to Victor and Darlene Ortega.
He is survived by his daughter Desiree Ortega, his grandchildren, Ayeanah Schwartz, Santiago Schwartz and Santos Schwartz, his parents, Victor and Darlene Ortega, his siblings, Elaine (Jake) Derouen and Jesse Ortega, his niece Davina De Luna and nephew Julian De Luna, his grandnephew Rylan Blevins and numerous aunts and cousins.
Steven was preceded in death by his son Isaiah Ortega.
Steven will be forever loved and deeply missed by all those he leaves behind.
Cremation was selected and a Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. May 5, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Alamosa.
