COSTILLA COUNTY — Election results for Costilla County that were posted online and published in the Courier were partial results. With more complete totals available as of Wednesday morning, Nov. 7, the outcome of Sierra Grande School’s ballot question shifted in favor of the BEST (Building Excellent Schools Today) funding to build a new school facility.
According to results available Wednesday morning, 901 votes were cast on this issue, and the Sierra Grande ballot question passed by 37 votes, or 52 percent.
