ALAMOSA – The Sierra Grande High School football team finished the 2024 regular season with an undefeated record as the Panthers defeated La Veta 56-14 in La Veta on Thursday.
Sierra Grande finished the season with a record of eight wins and no losses. The Panthers won the Southwest League with a 5-0 record.
Sierra Grande will have an open date next week. It will learn who it will face in the first round of the six-man state playoffs in the first week in November.
The Panthers will host that first round game.
