This male 7-year-old 15-pound mix, possibly Yorkie, “Sammi,” was found in the middle of the highway by Del Norte. He was skin and bones and nearly dead, but he has thrived under foster care in the last several months and is ready for a new home. He’s loving and can use a dog door. He is diabetic and requires medicine but is doing very well. He’s fine with dogs his size or bigger. To adopt him, please call 719-580-7853.
