Members of the SLV Quilt Guild present beautiful and comforting quilts to those dealing with victims of assault and trauma. The quilts will comfort victims of all ages throughout the San Luis Valley. From left are Alamosa County Sheriff Robert Jackson; Victim Advocate Director Joleen Trujillo; Beverly Hettinger, SLV Quilt Guild; Patti Lara and Shelly Martinez, Children’s Advocacy Center of the San Luis Valley; and Sue Foster, SLV Quilt Guild. The quilters lovingly prepared and donated 53 unique quilts on Thursday at the Alamosa County Sheriff’s Office.
