In a message sent out at 9:07 on Thursday morning, the Alamosa Police Department is requesting the public to avoid the area of Brown Avenue betwen Sunset Drive and Franklin Street.
CBI and the Alamosa Police Department are conducting a drug search warrant operation. This is an ongoing investigation and further information will be released later.
