Philip Eleuto Cordova, 51, passed away on March 19, 2025, in Florida.
Born on March 29, 1973, in Colorado Springs, Colo., Philip was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He was the son of Philip and Vicky Cordova, a devoted father to his son PJ, and a caring brother to Leslie (Luis) and Luke (Annette).
Phil was also a proud uncle to his nieces: Brianna, Abby (Angelo), and Jessamy, and nephews: Zachariah, Gabriel, and Seth. He was blessed with a great-nephew, Jericho, and a great-niece, Madelyn, and leaves behind numerous cousins and friends.
Phil’s love for his family was evident in everything he did. He enjoyed coaching his son’s sports teams, helping him with his homework, and spending quality time with those closest to him.
A man of deep faith, Phil always kept his Bible by his side and was known for sharing comforting verses, especially during difficult times, like his father’s illness. His gentle strength and unwavering faith brought peace to those around him.
Phil was also a natural problem solver. He had a passion for researching ways to improve his life and the lives of those around him — whether it was finding the best places to eat, researching ways to stay healthy, or seeking solutions to everyday challenges. His curiosity and resourcefulness were part of what made him such a dependable and inspiring person.
A true foodie, Phil loved discovering new restaurants and was always eager to recommend hidden gems based on the latest reviews. His enthusiasm for good food was only rivaled by his passion for connecting with others and creating lasting memories.
Phil’s humor, warmth, and generosity touched everyone he met. His ability to light up a room and make others feel special will be greatly missed. He was not just a friend but a guiding light to many.
Phil is survived by his son PJ, mother Vicky, siblings Leslie (Luis) and Luke (Annette), nephews Zachariah, Gabriel, and Seth, nieces Brianna, Abby (Angelo), and Jessamy, great-nephew Jericho, great-niece Madelyn, and numerous cousins and friends.
