Patricia Ellen (Wheeler) Crown passed away on May 28, 2025, in her home with family by her side.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and LaVonne Wheeler, her brother, Mike Wheeler and her nephew Adam Wheeler.
She is survived by her nieces Mindy (Robert) Bailey and Kristie Wheeler Chavez, as well as several great nieces and nephews.
Memorial service/celebration of life will be at Hills Church in the student center on June 19, 2025, at 3 p.m. She will be buried on Friday, June 20, 2025, at the Monte Vista Cemetery in Monte Vista, Colo., at noon. Patty will be greatly missed.
Patty loved family and had cared for them her whole life. She also loved her church and was a true believer.
Her hobbies included playing cards, reading and dancing. Patty loved to travel and had been on over 30 cruises and had a timeshare that she used quite often in Mexico.
The German Club was her passion for years. She used to travel with them and was in the dance group and danced with them at the Strater Hotel in Durango in the early 70’s.
At her home, she has beautiful flowers that are in full bloom. Roses were one of her favorites.
