With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia Ann Butero, who left this world peacefully on May 6, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on Aug. 15, 1954, in Lamar, Colo., Patricia lived a life rooted in love and dedication, teaching those around her the true meaning of family, hard work, and perseverance.
A long-time Catholic, Patricia found solace and strength in her faith. She was a devoted mother to her children, Shelly Butero and JR (Ginger) Butero and is survived by her grandchildren, Annika, Zane, and Quinn.
Patricia was a hard worker, managing several local convenience stores while also finding time to engage in her true passions. Her adventurous spirit led her to enjoy the great outdoors, frequently cutting wood and embracing all that nature had to offer. Known for her tenacity, toughness, and unfaltering stubbornness, she approached life with a determination that inspired those around her.
She is also survived by her loving brother Bob (Linda) Wilger and her sister Janet Harmon, with whom she shared a cherished bond.
