Michael (Mike) Young, 57, of Durango, Colo., passed away at home with his loving wife of 37 years, Mary, by his side. He fought a good fight with dignity and humor as he battled Multiple System Atrophy (MSA).

Mike earned the rank of Eagle Scout as a teenager, which led him to serve in the Youth Conservation Corps. He lived a life of service above self, and was a Paul Harris Fellow, and an active member of the Rotary Club of Durango. Mike will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
He is survived by his wife Mary, his mother Elizabeth Young, and brother Scott (Vivian) Young, niece Cheyenne Young, and nephew Troy Young.
He was preceded in death by his father Edward Young.
