Maverick J Mitchell

Maverick J Mitchell passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on November 23, 2018. Maverick was born on March 25, 2017. He was the happiest little boy while he lived his short time here on earth. He loved chasing frogs in the rain, his dog Thor, the color red, dum-dum suckers, and most importantly his mom and dad. Whatever Maverick’s daddy was doing, he was almost always right there with him, whether it was playing outside or riding the motorcycle. He also loved riding the four-wheeler with his cousins. Maverick loved music. When music could be heard, you would often find Mavey busting out some awesome dance moves, especially to heavy metal with his dad. While he loved doing things with his daddy, at the end of the day, his favorite place to be was snuggling his mommy while she rubbed his tiny feet.

Maverick is lovingly remembered by his parents, Justin and Avery Mitchell, his new baby sister Gentry Mitchell, his grandparents, Steven and Linda Mitchell and Brian and Valerie Crowther, his great grandparents, Vernon and Laura Mitchell, Ron and Mary Butler, Bob and Cleo Crowther and Frankie Glynn, his great great grandma, Lois Broyles, his aunts and uncles, Terrance Mitchell and Carin Poundstone-Knupp, Colten and Kayla Mitchell, Brice and Fallon Crowther, Ben and Kaley Hoover, Marcy Crowther, Colby and Adrian Wayment,  Austin and Riley McCrae, and Payton Crowther, his cousins, Paisley Mitchell, Claire, Noah, Harper and Cooper Crowther, Lenix, Dempsey and Nixon Hoover, and Krew Wayment. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond Glynn, Terry Broyles and Mary Lou Crowther, and his uncle, Waylon Mitchell.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 3, 2018 at the Sanford LDS Chapel. The viewing will be at 10 am and will be promptly followed by the funeral at 11 am.
