ALAMOSA — Sensei Alex Legato of Shinzui Martial Arts of Boulder will lead two martial arts camps at the Boys & Girls Clubs of the San Luis Valley beginning on Tuesday, Aug. 1.
The focus of the camps will be to have fun; learn self-defense and safety techniques; practice conflict resolution and anti-bullying skills; and gain discipline, confidence and self-esteem.
The camps are part of a menu of summer camps being offered by Boys & Girls Clubs throughout the summer.
The martial arts camps are open to youth ages 8 and older. The first camp is slated for Aug. 1-4 from noon to 5 p.m. each day.
The second camp is slated for Aug. 8-11 from noon to 5 p.m. each day.

Camp cost is $25 for non-BGCSLV members, payable on the first day of camp.
