Maria Alice Archuleta was called home by our Lord the morning of the 14th of June, surrounded by the love of her family.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband Paul Archuleta, parents Ben and Agatha Vigil, grandson Benjamin Sanchez, her sisters; Marcella Clark, Tita Pacheco, and Jennie Vigil, and brother Paul Vigil.
Alice was a woman who was willing to stand beside you on any project big or small, work hard and enjoy doing it. The mountains, rivers, and lakes of Colorado were her second home.
Alice kept her family fed, always cooking something. She taught her family right from wrong and showed the family the meaning of love.
Alice will be tremendously missed by all who knew her.
Her legacy will live on through her daughter Patrica Archuleta, grandson Michael Sanchez (Samantha Sandoval), granddaughter Melissa Cordova, great-grandchildren Benjamin Sanchez Jr., Aleigha Sanchez, Michael Thomas Sanchez, and Jamie Sanchez, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
There will be a graveside service on Thursday, June 19, 2025, and the Blanca/Fort Garland Cemetery at 11 a.m.
