Death leaves a heartache no one can heal.

Love leaves a memory no one can steal.

After years of declining health, our beloved sister, Lorrine passed away on Dec. 3, 2022, at the age of 84.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Amine and Rose Skaff and by her loving husband, Fred Winger and her older sister, Rosaline. Lorrine is survived by her brothers Edward (Karen), Jimel (Esther), Anthony (Kathy) and her sister Adele (Ron).

Lorrine started school when she was four years old and was the youngest student in her class. She was Salutatorian of her class when she graduated at the age of 16.

Lorrine majored in English and Business Education at the University of Northern Colorado. After earning her Master’s Degree, she advanced her career by earning a Doctoral Degree.

She continued teaching while also serving as a consultant for McGraw-Hill Books, co-authoring several highly acclaimed textbooks.

Lorrine was so much more than a professor and received many honors including Outstanding Business Educator of the year. She was loved and respected by both faculty and students and will truly be missed by all who had the honor and pleasure of knowing her.

May peace be with Lorrine as she now rests in the arms of God to sweetly live again in eternity with the loved ones who preceded her in death.
