ALAMOSA — Elmer Lester Adam Jr., a longtime resident of Alamosa, passed away peacefully with his loving wife by his side on Nov. 20, 2019 at their home,
He was born in Van Buren, Ark., on Aug. 16, 1934 to Elmer Lester Adam Sr. and Delpha (Peirce) Adam.
Elmer was a sniper in the Army, a policeman, a corrections officer, officer for Pinkerton, a fireman, worker for County Road Commission, and a sales clerk for Frontier Pawn Shop in Alamosa, where he worked until his retirement.
He is survived by his John, Jerry, Larry, Jim, and sister Linda. His loving wife Pat Adam, children Carmer and Patti Adam, Smiley and Rhonda Adam, Matthew and Eileen Adam, Jimmy Adam, Patrick Hamilton, Sharon and Danny Warwick. He has several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
His wishes were to be cremated and there will be no services to follow. Elmer was a loving husband, father and grandfather. We will miss him and love him dearly.
