The walls of justice are taking shape against the San Luis Valley skyline as work progresses on the new Alamosa courthouse on the southern edge of Alamosa. The new Alamosa County judicial center, which is being funded in part from a "1-cent for justice" sales tax approved by voters, will house the new courthouse and probation facility.
It will replace the courthouse located on Fourth Street that was built in the 1930s.
