Juanita Patricia Nobriga Gutierrez Peterson (Pebbles), 56, was called to heaven on Oct. 3, 2024, peacefully at home with family. Trish was born on Nov. 27, 1967, in Denver, Colo., to parents Theodore Nobriga and Rebecca Ayon.
She was a spontaneous and adventurous soul who loved the water, stargazing, listening to music and animal print fashion. And was always very devoted to her family, friends and her fur baby Marley.
Trish was a faithful soldier of God and was always ready to lend a helping hand, always having comforting and encouraging words to offer when it was needed the most.
She led a happy, free and fulfilling life, growing up and spending time in Hawaii, where her dad is from, living and traveling on her own from a young age.
She worked many different occupations and was always very involved and interested in learning new things.
Mostly she appreciated living a fast life on her own terms in Denver, always in motion as she was a larger-than-life personality.
It was later in life that she chose to slow down and come back to the Valley to be with family and we are grateful for that time with her.
She is survived by her husband Daniel Peterson, her mother Rebecca Ayon, her brothers Albert (Dino) Nobriga, and Nick Garcia, her nieces Diedra Pourier, Adrieanna Nobriga, Tyri Nobriga, nephews Deno (DJ) Pourier, Jeriel Chavez, and Nico, Isaac, and Elijia Garcia. Also, great-nieces Ivy Pourier, Sydnie Estrada, Marylin Estrada, and great-nephew Zakai Estrada. And many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Theodore Nobriga and her grandmother Eloyda Ananya.
Her spirit and legacy of love and selflessness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Cremation was chosen and services will be held at a later date at The Door Church in Alamosa, Colo.
