Trinidad resident Josiah Leo Vigil passed away September 8, 2017. Little Josiah was born on August 30, 2017 at Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, Colorado, the beloved son of Francisco Quezada and Gabrielle Vigil. Though sweet Josiah’s time on earth was not long enough, he taught as a reminder that life is precious and tomorrow is not promised. To live each day to the fullest.

Survivors include his mother Gabrielle Vigil of Trinidad, CO; father Cisco Quezada of Trinidad, CO; sister Savanah (Daniel) Vigil of Alamosa, CO; brothers Johnavon Vigil and Francisco Jr., both of Trinidad, CO; grandmother Erica Dupont of Trinidad, CO; Brooke Vigil and Justin Valdez of Trinidad, CO; niece Laila Vigil of Trinidad, CO; Grandfather Russ Espinoza Jr. of Antonito, CO, maternal grandparents Danny and Perfilia Vigil of Alamosa, CO; great-grandparents Greg Dupont and Diana Rodriguez of Las Mesitas, CO; Janet Dupont of Antonito, CO; Martin and Jenny Vigil of San Antonio, CO; great-great-grandparents Gilbert Salazar of Antonito, CO; Lucille Dupont of Antonito, CO; aunt. He is also survived by several other aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Mass of the Angels will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Conejos. Inurnment will be held at a later date. The care of arrangements have been entrusted to Romero Funeral Home of Alamosa.
