MONTE VISTA —Joseph Adolph Archuleta, 61, passed away June 23, 2019 at his home with his loving family by his side. Joseph was welcomed into the world on Sept. 24, 1957 in Monte Vista, the son of Edmundo Archuleta and Flora Ida Medina Archuleta. Joseph was always known for his smile and outgoing personality. He was a friend to any and all. Joseph loved being outdoors, gardening and visiting with his friends and neighbors. His greatest joy in life came from the time he was able to spend with his family.
Survivors include his sisters Rose Valdez of Monte Vista; Helen Archuleta of Guymon; brother Joe Archuleta of Albuquerque, N.M. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents Edmundo and Flora Archuleta, sister Ramona Theresa Medina, Bernice Chacon, brothers Michael Archuleta, Edmundo Archuleta, Robert Archuleta and George Archuleta.
Cremation was chosen and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 29 at 10 a.m. at the Grace Community Church located at 403 Lincoln Ave. Monte Vista.
