Jeffrey William Gilmore was born on July 16, 1971, in Alamosa, Colo. He was happiest when surrounded by his family and friends.
He is survived by his children, Emma (Oklahoma City), Parker (Colorado Springs), and Ty (Laramie); his brother Mark and sister-in-law Sarah, along with his niece Clara (Denver); and his parents, Pat and Tom Gilmore, who remain in the family home in Alamosa. He was especially close to his aunts, uncles, cousins, and their children, cherishing every family gathering.
Jeff had a deep love for sports and the outdoors. He enjoyed cheering for the Broncos and Rockies, playing community softball and golf, and working with his hands in woodworking. He built strong friendships at the Home Office of Mountain West Farm Bureau Insurance Company in Laramie, where he worked for many years. Committed to his community, he served on several boards and took part in local events over the years.
Friends and family are invited to gather in his memory at the Cattails Golf Clubhouse in Alamosa on April 5, anytime between 2 and 4 p.m. A Celebration of Life will also be held in Laramie at a later date, with details to be announced.
