Manassa resident Jane D. Sandoval, 90, was called home on Dec. 24, 2022, at the Conejos Hospital with her loving family at her side. Jane came into the world on Sept. 9, 1932, the daughter of Abel and Maria Sanchez.
Jane devoted her life to caring for her family and raising her children. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. On her free time she liked going to the mountains, listen to music and care for her pet "Tiny".
She will live on through her children Rose (Franz) Lucero, Sandra Sandoval(Arthur Marquez)both of Antonito, Colo.; Rodney (Loretta) Sandoval, John (Arlene) Sandoval, Gary Sandoval (Miguel Concepcion) all of Manassa, Colo.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister Berlinda Ramirez of Chama, Colo. She is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond J. Sandoval, son Clifford Sandoval as well as four brothers and one sister.
Vigil Service with Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022, at 6 p.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Manassa. Mass of the Resurrection will be on Friday, Dec. 30, 2022, at 10 a.m. also at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Manassa. Burial will follow at the Los Cerritos Cemetery in Manassa.
