Frank Ricardo Peña (aka Quats) was a beloved Son, Husband, Father, Stepfather, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Cousin and Friend. 

Frank was 78 when he peacefully passed away with his loving family by his side. He was the Son of Anacor and Maria Peña. 

Frank loved and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Frank found peace and loved his time with the Lord. He would spend hours reading his Bible and loved going to church. He would tell anyone who would listen about Jesus. His favorite scripture was Psalms 23. 

He was an avid Raiders fan, and he wore his Raiders gear loud and proud. He hunted with his bow and loved to go camping and fishing. He was a funny person he loved to joke around and make you laugh. He worked at the sawmill in South Fork for many years then moved to Denver where he worked for Quick Rite as a forklift operator where he retired. 

Frank is survived by his wife of 50 years Carol Peña; his children Larry Rodriguez (Carlena Ceja), Isabella and Bobby Pino, Frankie Peña (Michelle Perry) and Genevive Peña; along with his stepdaughters Genevieve and Angelina; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; his six step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his mother Anacor Peña, his Mother Angelica Peña and his brother Victor Martinez. 

A Celebration of Frank’s Life will be at the Knights of Columbus in Del Norte on May 17 at 10 a.m. Burial at 11 a.m. Del Norte Cemetery. Please join us for Lunch with all Franks favorites.
