Evelyn M. Sellers passed away on May 13, 2025, at Skyline Ridge Nursing Home in Canon City, Colo. She was born to Ernest Reed and Rebecca Mae Reed of Grafton, W.Va., on Feb. 24, 1931. She was married to Gerld W. Sellers of Manassa, Colo., on Nov. 21, 1961, and later to Donald Conklin of Tres Piedras, N.M., on June 16, 2012.
She is survived by three children: Susan Erdmann (Terry Erdmann) of Canon City, Colo., Beverly Pringle (Edward Pringle) of Florence, Ariz., and Don Sellers (Janean Sellers) of DuBois, Wyo. She is survived by her 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald W. Sellers, her parents and her 13 brothers and sisters.
She was a beloved member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she and her late husband served a mission in the Fox Creek, Colo., Branch. She served in many positions in both the Manassa, Colorado Ward and the Fox Creek Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was loved by all. She had a wonderful sense of humor, was the glue of her family and she especially loved little children.
Visitations will be held at Roger’s Family Mortuary at 205 N. 3rd St. in Manassa, Colo., on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m. as well as on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. at the church.
Funeral services will follow on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 311 Main St., Manassa, Colo., beginning at 10:30 a.m. Dedication of the grave will immediately follow the funeral and will be held at the Manassa Cemetery in Manassa, Colorado.
